Darah has spent the better part of the last decade serving in missions with her family in some of the more remote areas of the world. During this time she gained invaluable life experience but saw a great need to obtain more training to learn how to better address the needs of those who have experienced trauma and abuse. Today, she serves as a trained domestic violence advocate and a Board Certified Christian Counselor. She also holds a master’s degree in counseling with a focus on trauma and crisis care.
She loves to speak at events and churches and is passionate about equipping churches and people how to move from being overwhelmed to overcoming. Her desire is to see more people thriving instead of just surviving!
She specializes in church events, women’s retreats, health retreats, church services or weekend church “training” events. Popular topics have included: Domestic Violence in the church; the biblical remedy to toxic emotions; overcoming unforgiveness and bitterness; and Darah’s personal testimony of how God transformed her life from one of brokenness to one of blessings.
