Each week participants gather together in a warm and supportive space as we work towards learning more about how to handle life's challenges, both emotionally and relationally.

As a Christian support group, all meetings begin with a word of prayer and then a brief "check-in" to share, acknowledge, and celebrate one another's victories from the previous week.

Each lesson provides three “heart work” action steps to work on during the week until our next group meeting. This allows participants to put into practice what their learning in the course!

Each 90-minute session begins with 30 minutes of processing time, where we review how everyone is doing with their action steps from the previous week. Then, we watch a 20-30 minute video lesson, in which Darah shares valuable tools to help you move from overwhelm to overcoming. After the video, we dedicate the remaining 30 minutes to discussing the content from that week’s video together, offering encouragement, and uplifting one another as we work towards our heart goals for the week.

*This course is designed to be trauma and abuse informed. It is designed to be a safe haven for participants who have experienced past/present challenges.

The Overcomer's Course is a 13 week course.

The course is held online via Zoom. This allows members to join in from anywhere, even during the summer months when many members may be out on vacation. The intimate format also provides a safe space without the distractions that can sometimes come along with holding programs in the main church building.

All group meetings take place online via Zoom. Once your church has purchased the course by emailing thrivechurchprograms@gmail.com, and coordinated your preferred day and time, you’ll receive an email confirmation with your Zoom link to access your group session on your selected date and time. (Your zoom link won’t be open until the time your class is scheduled each week.)

You're church members will have access to the video lessons, group coaching with Darah Ashlie, and the recorded zoom calls during the 13 week course period. Plus, each participant gets downloadable handouts each week that are the theirs to keep. Participants also have lifetime access to the private Facebook group.

Designed as a unique, personalized experience, the Overcomer’s Course stands apart from many traditional church programs by offering live, individualized care and coaching for each participant.

The course is currently being offered at an introductory price of $499 for the first group of 8 participants, with additional groups available at a reduced rate of $250. The lower additional group rate allows churches the flexibility to create separate male and female programs, and add additional participants if desired, while ensuring each individual receives the attention and support they need to truly overcome and grow.

Registration is done on a revolving basis, as we find this fits best with each church’s unique schedule. The Overcomer's Course is designed for churches to offer personalized support for their members.

Each program purchase includes a small group of up to 8 participants, ensuring individualized care and coaching. Churches can purchase additional sessions for more participants, and may choose to create separate groups for men and women if preferred.

To get started, churches should contact the course coordinator directly at thrivechurchprograms@gmail.com to discuss your church’s preferred day and time for the program. Once your schedule is set, a customized course package will be created.

Churches will need to provide the names and contact information (email and phone number) of all participants at least 14 days before the course begins to ensure proper setup.

This structure ensures each group receives focused attention, allowing for meaningful, personalized support throughout the course.

At the first session participants are given the directions on how to access all course materials.

Unfortunately, there is no way to refund or reimburse you for any missed classes and each class has valuable insights your participants won't want to miss. However, if they do need to miss a class or leave early, or simply want to refresh their memory on a particular lesson, all zoom meetings are recorded. They can watch the class they missed and refer to it as they need to throughout the course! (*Due to privacy regulations, recorded sessions may not be shared with anyone not officially registered for the course as a participant. Recorded zoom calls are removed at the close of the 13 weeks for participant privacy purposes).

Churches can decide to run the program for men and women together, or may choose to run it separately, hosting one group for women and a separate one for men. This is the ideal format as it allows complete transparency within the group. *Note: the course does touch on some sensitive subject material that may be better processed in a segregated format.

Yes. The Overcomer’s Course is a biblically grounded, Christ-centered program that focuses on how to heal emotional and relational wounds from a biblically grounded perspective. It incorporates psycho-educational materials and information, prayer and Bible reading to help facilitate mental well being as well as emotional and relational healing.

This course is not a replacement for licensed counseling. This program is considered a psycho-educational coaching program. And as such, we do require every participant to fill out an intake form to screen for actively suicidal cases, court mandated counseling cases, and for patients who are actively seeking a diagnosis for any major mental illness. This course is not designed to address these concerns. If after reviewing the intake forms, we deem a participant actively needs more care than the course can provide, we may refer the participant to a licensed professional counselor in their area.

All transactions are final due to the nature of downloadable content, including handouts and videos. However, it matters that you are completely satisfied! Refunds may be granted on an individual basis after we review your situation, only within 7 days after purchase, and only if you have not yet downloaded materials.
